Your primary care doctor can perform well-woman exams, but I’m of the professional opinion that you should be seeing your GYN for it.

Here is why: GYNs undergo extensive training in diagnosing and treating conditions specific to the female anatomy, such as menstrual disorders, contraception, and pelvic health.
